Associahedra (or Stasheff polytopes) were first introduced by Stasheff in his thesis to define the concept of
An-spaces. Owing to their rich combinatorial structures, these polytopes have persistently appeared in various fields of study, including
An-maps and moduli spaces. In this talk, we will explore three additional models of these polytopes: Loday's cone construction, collapsed multiplihedra, and graph cubeahedra, and investigate the combinatorial isomorphisms between them.
Sandip Samanta is a final-year PhD scholar at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata, supervised by Dr. Somnath Basu. His primary research area is homotopy theory, with additional interests in combinatorics, differential geometry, and topology.
